US Strong is a non-profit, non-partisan initiative focused on building support for Extreme Weather Relief and Protection.
We are engaging homeowners, first responders, faith leaders, businesses, community organizations and leaders to build support for common-sense responses and protective measures to respond to extreme weather.
Extreme weather is a national problem. The United States has recently suffered through record floods, droughts and other extreme weather events.
US Strong is calling for a dedicated, national, “Extreme Weather Relief and Protection Fund” to protect and strengthen our homes, communities, public health, environment and economy.
US Strong has begun its efforts in New Jersey because of Superstorm Sandy and the devastation it caused up and down the New Jersey and New York coastline.
We are urging New Jersey’s Congressional leaders to support real solutions to protect and strengthen our homes, communities, public health, environment and economy. Acting now can help save us suffering another tragedy like Hurricane Sandy.
It is critical that we get started so that we’re never left unprepared again.
